R.A.F. British Sheepskin Bomber Jacket |
This jacket was worn by the Heroes of the Battle of Britain. British and many other RAF Fighter and Bomber pilots wore this superb garment while fighting in the skies over London. It uses hand cut supple American Sheepskin Pelts. Original details include zippered cuffs, leather welting on seams, leather belt closures underarm grommets, an inside canvas equipment pouch and a full front zipper over storm flap. The Hand warmer side entry pockets are a modern convenience.
